La vigilancia en las organizaciones: la influencia de la sociedad disciplinaria y de la sociedad del control

Abstract

El presente trabajo nos permite entender cómo evoluciona la vigilancia en las organizaciones, bajo la consideración de la influencia social y cultural de un enfoque disciplinario de inicios del siglo XX y la incorporación de un enfoque de control a finales del mismo siglo, adoptados por las organizaciones para priorizar el cumplimiento de normas y leyes, al mismo tiempo para garantizar ganancias en un modelo de consumo que exige un desarrollo económico agresivo, esto resalta la participación del componente humano en el proceso de vigilancia.

ABSTRACT

The present work allows us to understand how surveillance evolves in organizations, considering the social and cultural influence of the disciplinary approach of the early twentieth century and the incorporation of a control approach at the end of the same century, being adopted by organizations to prioritize the fulfilment of norms and laws. At the same time, guaranteeing profits in a consumption model that demands an aggressive economic development, this highlighting the participation of the human component in the surveillance process.
