Changes in University and Society: A Look Toward Improvement and the Future

Dear readers and authors of University and Society,

The Editorial Committee of the journal University and Society, in collaboration with the Editorial Universo Sur of the University of Cienfuegos, has undertaken an updating process in recent months aimed at optimizing editorial processes and enhancing the quality of its management.

This process has included changes in structure and organization, as well as updates to the OJS platform and its policies, in addition to adjustments in editorial management and publication modalities. These modifications are based on the results of a research project conducted by Editorial Universo Sur, which has facilitated the continuous professional development of our editorial team.

As a result of these changes, contributions are now reopened exclusively through the OJS platform, which will facilitate a more agile flow of the editorial process. To submit your work, you must register on the platform and follow the corresponding procedure. Detailed information can be found in the publication rules and instructions for authors.

Another significant change implemented by University and Society effective January 2025 is the transition to a continuous publication model.
