Propuesta de una pizarra Asterisk en la Universidad de Cienfuegos

Resumen

Se realiza esta investigación con el objetivo de proponer una pizarra Asterisk en la Universidad de Cienfuegos (UCF) que permita la reducción de costos por prestación de servicios telefónicos y se alcance flexibilidad en cuanto a métodos de acceso telefónico, integración de hardware y software, movilidad y mayor calidad. Se identificaron los conceptos relevantes de la tecnología VoIP necesarios para alcanzar las tareas planteadas. Luego se realizó una caracterización de la Red de Datos de la UCF y se diseñaron y configuraron los servicios a prestar por la PBX Asterisk a partir de la caracterización realizada. Por último se verifica el correcto funcionamiento de la red de VoIP a través de una simulación con el software OPNET MODELER.

ABSTRACT

This investigation is carried out with the objective of proposing an Asterisk Private Branch Exchange in the University of Cienfuegos (UCF) that allows the reduction of costs for phone support services and to reach flexibility for methods of phone access, hardware and software integration, mobility and quality of the service in UCF. The outstanding necessary concepts of the VoIP technology are identified to achieve the outlined goals. Then it`s carried out a characterization of the UCF`s Data Net and are designed and configured the services in the Asterisk PBX starting from the characterization. Lastly the correct operation of the VoIP net is verified through a simulation with the software OPNET MODELER.
