La economía popular y solidaria como régimen de gestión en el turismo comunitario

Resumen

En la actualidad la Economía Popular y Solidaria ha ido tomando un papel importante dentro de la sociedad, puesto que, se ve reflejado al ser humano como sujeto y fin para realizar diversas actividades sociales. Esta investigación busca evaluar la eficacia del régimen de la Economía Popular y Solidaria, instituido en Ecuador, para gestionar la oferta de turismo comunitario en el país. El volumen de crédito comercial y microcrédito colocado anualmente por las entidades del Sistema Financiero Popular y Solidario se empleó como variable de control de la evolución del número anual de organizaciones dedicadas a la prestación de servicios turísticos bajo el régimen examinado. La regresión lineal simple, sobre este conjunto de datos, se realizó empleando el lenguaje R 4.0.5 en el IDE RStudio 1.4.1106, y arrojó el resultado de que ambas variables se comportan de modo linealmente independiente. Ello, lleva a la conclusión de que el régimen de la Economía Popular y Solidaria, para ser eficaz respecto de la oferta turística comunitaria nacional, requeriría ser reformado; o su implementación, fortalecida.

ABSTRACT

Currently, the Popular and Solidarity Economy has been taking an important role in society, since it reflects the human being as a subject and an end to perform various social activities. This research seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the Popular and Solidarity Economy regime, instituted in Ecuador, to manage the supply of community tourism in the country. The volume of commercial credit and microcredit placed annually by the entities of the Popular and Solidarity Financial System was used as a control variable for the evolution of the annual number of organizations dedicated to the provision of tourism services under the regime examined. The simple linear regression on this data set was carried out using the R 4.0.5 language in the IDE RStudio 1.4.1106, and yielded the result that both variables behave in a linearly independent manner. This leads to the conclusion that the Popular and Solidarity Economy regime, in order to be effective with respect to the national community tourism offer, would need to be reformed or its implementation strengthened.
