El texto científico-profesional: necesidad de la Educación Superior

Resumen

El presente trabajo refiere experiencias acerca del estudio del texto científico-profesional como una necesidad acuciante en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la Educación Superior. El tratamiento del estilo científico-profesional, dentro de la diversidad textual, no satisface las necesidades cognitivas de los estudiantes; sin embargo resulta de vital importancia por la representatividad que posee en el currículum de la Educación Superior como medio de recepción, análisis y transmisión del conocimiento de cada ciencia. Su estudio exhaustivo constituye una necesidad del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la actualidad, pues la lengua funciona como macroeje transversal del currículum. De esta forma está a tono con el reto de la enseñanza actual: traspasar la frontera de su sistema de conocimientos y ponerse a tono con la ciencia en aras de una comprensión más cabal de los sistemas complejos. La experiencia obtenida al respecto se valida desde la Carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria para garantizar el abordaje de la lengua materna desde una perspectiva funcional en virtud del modelo del profesional y de la moderna ciencia lingüística y didáctica.

ABSTRACT

This work deals with the experiences about the study of scientific-professional texts as a priority for the teaching-learning process in higher education. The treatment of the scientific-professional style within textual diversity does not satisfy the students cognitive needs, however it is highly important because of the representative character it has in the curriculum of higher education as a means for the reception, analysis and transmission of knowledge in every science. Its exhaustive study is a real necessity for the teaching-learning process nowadays since language works as a relevant transversal core of the curriculum. In this regard, the scientific-professional text is in correspondence with the challenge of today’s teaching process; that is, to cross over the boundary of its system of knowledge and to be scientifically updated in order to have a more complete comprehension of the complex systems. The experience obtained in this respect, is validated in the Elementary Education major in order to guarantee the use of the mother tongue from a functional perspective as indicated in the professional model modern Linguistics and Didactics.
