El enfoque educativo en el tratamiento de la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica en adultos mayores

Resumen

En la presente investigación se parte de la idea de identificar los aspectos importantes del enfoque educativo en el tratamiento de pacientes adultos mayores con enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica. Para tratar el tema, se apoya en una búsqueda biográfica con el fin de analizar las perspectivas y enfoques ofrecidos a la temática por parte de la comunidad científica internacional. Se utilizaron los siguientes métodos: del nivel teórico el inductivo – deductivo, analítico –sintético, dentro de los empíricos se encuentran la encuesta, además se empleó la estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Se expone como objetivo aplicar un conjunto de medidas educativas para elevar el conocimiento de los adultos mayores que padecen de enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica. A partir de los resultados obtenidos en la presente investigación, se pudo constatar la actualidad de esta temática y la necesidad de continuar profundizando en ella. Pues existió diferencia significativa que validan la investigación.

ABSTRACT

This research is based on the idea of identifying the important aspects of the educational approach in the treatment of older adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In order to deal with the subject, it is based on a biographical search with the purpose of analyzing the perspectives and approaches offered to the subject by the international scientific community. The following methods were used: inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic at the theoretical level, survey at the empirical level, and descriptive and inferential statistics. The objective is to apply a set of educational measures to increase the knowledge of older adults suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. From the results obtained in this research, it was possible to confirm the relevance of this topic and the need to continue deepening it. There was a significant difference that validates the research.
