La práctica religiosa de la Regla de Ocha-Ifá: análisis desde la perspectiva de género en la “Sociedad El Cristo”, Palmira, Cienfuegos

Resumen

La práctica religiosa de la Regla de Ocha-Ifá, en Palmira es una manifestación del patrimonio cultural inmaterial que posee ribetes de unicidad, originalidad y diversidad, expresión del enfoque integrador de la sociedad, donde todas las categorías sociales se manifiestan de forma interrelacionada, y los distintos sistemas desde el macro hasta el micro adquieren un sentido de igualdad jerárquica, desde un nivel de concreción de los lineamientos en las políticas culturales patrimoniales.Este fenómeno religioso, tiene peculiaridades muy particulares en el territorio palmireño por su fidelidad a las tradiciones africanas que han posibilitado que lleguen hasta nuestros días imágenes, tambores, ritos y atributos; de ahí que las familias religiosas en Palmira estén vinculadas al surgimiento, formación y desarrollo de la religión popular y la cultura afrocubana. La presente investigación realiza un estudio de la práctica religiosa de la Regla de Ocha-Ifá, desde la perspectiva de género en la sociedad “El Cristo”, en Palmira, Cienfuegos. Se determina la participación de la mujer en la ceremonia de consagración a Ifá, y se destaca cómo se manifiestan las diferencias entre hombres y mujeres en esta práctica religiosa.

ABSTRACT

The religious practice of the Rule of Ocha-Ifa, in Palmira is a manifestation of the intangible cultural heritage that has borders of uniqueness, originality and diversity, expression of the integrating approach of society, where all social categories are manifested in an interrelated way, and the different systems from the macro to the micro acquire a sense of hierarchical equality, from a level of concretion of the guidelines in the patrimonial cultural policies. This religious phenomenon has peculiarities that are very particular in the Palmyrean territory due to its fidelity to the African traditions that have allowed images, drums, rites and attributes to reach our days; hence, religious families in Palmira are linked to the emergence, formation and development of popular religion and Afro-Cuban culture. The present investigation makes a study of the religious practice of the Rule of Ocha-Ifa, from the perspective of gender in the society "The Christ", in Palmira, Cienfuegos. The participation of the woman in the ceremony of consecration to Ifa is determined, and it highlights how the differences between men and women in this religious practice are manifested.
