El impacto del menaje de casa en los migrantes ecuatorianos

Resumen

El desequilibrio económico resultado de la crisis que vivió el país hace varios años tuvo consecuencias sociales y políticas. Según antecedentes estadísticos, durante los años del 2000 al 2003 la migración tuvo sus índices más elevados, y los destinos principales elegidos por los ecuatorianos eran países como Italia, España, Estados Unidos, entre otros. Causa de este fenómeno social, en el año 2008 el Gobierno formalizó el Plan de Retorno Voluntario, Digno y Sostenible, dentro del cual se da cabida al menaje de casa. En la presente investigación se examinará si el Menaje de casa es conveniente para los migrantes ecuatorianos, y al mismo tiempo se conseguirá determinar cuáles son los primordiales inconvenientes para la aplicación del mismo, a través de métodos de investigación aplicados para la obtención de resultados. Se realizarán las encuestas a los involucrados en el proceso (migrantes, servidores aduaneros), con la finalidad de conocer sus vivencias, experiencias y sugerencias al respecto.

ABSTRACT

The economic unbalance resulted from the economic crisis that affected the country several years ago had social and political consequences. Both families and business were affected. According to statistics, immigration had its highest rates all through 2000 to 2003 and the USA, Span, and Italy were amongst the most common destinations. Due to his social phenomena the government created in 2008 a program that benefitted the immigrants, this program was called “The Sustainable Dignified Voluntary Return Program”. This program allows immigrants to return to the country bringing back their household supplies bought abroad without paying the due taxes. The present research paper will examine whether this benefit is useful for Ecuadorian immigrants and at the same time it will determine the biggest inconveninents when applying it. All this will be managed through investigation methods to obtain the results. People involved in the process (immigrants, customs officers) will be interviewed in order to find out more about their experiences and to get suggestions from them.
