LAS PUBLICACIONES CIENTÍFICAS EN ACCESO ABIERTO: EL CASO REVISTA “UNIVERSIDAD Y SOCIEDAD”

Resumen

En las universidades cubanas la edición de revistas científica digital se abre paso como forma de difusión de la investigación científica, posibilitando el desarrollo de modelos abiertos de información y la capacidad para compartir y construir conocimiento de forma colaborativa, lo cual tiene consecuencias directas en todos los sectores de la sociedad implicados en la generación y divulgación de conocimiento.

En este contexto, la Revista “Universidad y Sociedad”, ofrece todos sus contenidos en Acceso Abierto a través del sistema de administración y publicación de revistas electrónicas: Open Journal Systems (OJS) desde el año 2009 (http://www.ucf.edu.cu/ojsucf/index. php/uys). Ello forma parte de un esfuerzo mayor para ampliar la capacidad de publicación científica en la Universidad de Cienfuegos y para promover el intercambio académico y científico nacional e internacional. Su principal objetivo es acoger trabajos de alto valor académico, prioritariamente en temas referentes a la gestión universitaria del conocimiento y la innovación para el desarrollo en nuestra sociedad, aunque sin excluir otros estudios, en tanto supongan un diálogo o invitación al mismo. También, dirige su atención a impulsar la reflexión crítica, la discusión teórica y metodológica, la revisión de temas que forman parte de las investigaciones en nuestras universidades así como el abordaje de nuevos tópicos que permitan ampliar nuestros horizontes de conocimiento e interpretación.

ABSTRACT

In the Cuban universities the digital scientific edition of magazines opens up step like form of diffusion of the scientific investigation, facilitating the development of models open of information and the capacity to share and to build knowledge in a collaborative way, that which has direct consequences in all the sectors of the society implied in the generation and popularization of knowledge.  

In this context, the Magazine “University and Society”, he/she offers all their contents in Open Access through the administration system and publication of electronic magazines: Open Journal Systems (OJS) from the year 2009 (http://www.ucf.edu.cu/ojsucf/index.php/uys). he/she is formed part of a bigger effort to enlarge the capacity of scientific publication in the University of Cienfuegos and to promote the national and international academic and scientific exchange. Their main objective is to welcome works of high academic value, prioritarily in relating topics to the university administration of the knowledge and the innovation for the development in our society, although without excluding other studies, as long as they suppose a dialogue or invitation to the same one. Also, it directs their attention to impel the critical reflection, the theoretical and methodological discussion, the revision of topics that they are part of the investigations in our universities as well as the boarding of new topics that you/they allow to enlarge our horizons of knowledge and interpretation.
