Retos de la categorización científica para contribuir con el Desarrollo Sostenible en Cuba

Resumen

El recurso más preciado de una nación es su potencial humano y para impulsar su política económica social, se requiere garantizar la formación educativa y científica con la más alta calidad desde las edades tempranas. En el momento histórico actual, la ciencia y los científicos cubanos tienen nuevos retos y responsabilidades. Por ello, la certificación de competencias profesionales como investigador se constituye en una necesidad para incrementar el impacto de los resultados, ya que implica fortalecer la capacidad de análisis y la solución de problemas con ciencia e innovación. Con el objetivo de proponer acciones para incentivar el proceso de categorización científica, se realiza un análisis de los aspectos generales del proceso, que incluye los retos y proyecciones a partir de la implementación de las políticas de ciencia, tecnología e innovación que buscan recuperar el crecimiento del potencial humano categorizado y su retención, fortalecer la conexión ciencia-economía, estimular la productividad científica y la articulación de todos los actores del sistema en todos los sectores y territorios, como parte de la actualización del modelo de desarrollo económico y social hasta el 2030.

ABSTRACT

The most precious resource of a nation is its human potential and to promote its social economic policy, it is necessary to guarantee educational and scientific training with the highest quality from an early age. In the current historical moment, Cuban science and scientists have new challenges and responsibilities. Therefore, the certification of professional skills as a researcher is a necessity to increase the impact of the results, since it implies strengthening the capacity for analysis and problem solving with science and innovation. In order to know the challenges to encourage the process of scientific categorization, an analysis of the general aspects of the process is carried out, which includes the challenges and projections from the implementation of science, technology and innovation policies that seek to recover the growth of the categorized human potential and its retention, strengthen the science-economy connection, stimulate scientific productivity and the articulation of all the actors of the system in all sectors and territories, as part of the updating of the economic and social development model until the 2030.
