Factores de crecimiento en los depósitos bancarios del Ecuador y su análisis

Resumen

Resulta importante la investigación sobre las tendencias de los depósitos bancarios y el análisis que se realiza de los factores que pueden influir en dicha variable. Por tal razón se ha planteado cómo propósito analizar los factores de crecimiento de los depósitos bancarios en el Ecuador entre el año 2015 y el año 2020. Se ha diseñado una metodología basada en la modalidad cuali-cuantitava, aplicando métodos del nivel teórico y técnicas documentales y de estadística para describir y correlacionar las variables identificadas. Los resultados que se han podido identificar son de dos tipos. La primera es de tipo descriptivo en la que se explica las tendencias en una línea de tiempo de la variable dependiente y de seis variables independientes; el segundo resultado es de tipo inferencial aplicando una metodología RDAR o ARDL por sus siglas en inglés. Se concluye que entre la variable que mejor se correlacionó con la variable criterio, fue la inflación como variable explicativa de la tendencia de los depósitos bancarios.

ABSTRACT

It is important to investigate trends in bank deposits and to analyze the factors that may influence this variable. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze the growth factors of bank deposits in Ecuador between 2015 and 2020. A methodology based on the qualitative-quantitative modality has been designed, applying methods of the theoretical level and documentary and statistical techniques to describe and correlate the identified variables. The results that have been identified are of two types. The first is descriptive, explaining the trends in a time line of the dependent variable and six independent variables; the second result is inferential, applying an RDAR or ARDL methodology. It is concluded that the variable that best correlated with the criterion variable was inflation as an explanatory variable of the trend in bank deposits.
