Application of a biomechanical study to the Mawashi Geri technique in the pre-competitive stage in karate fighter from the University of Cienfuegos

Resumen

In this research, a biomechanical study is applied to the Mawashi Geri technique in the precompetitive stage in karate fighters at the University of Cienfuegos with the aim of detecting deficient elements that make it difficult to master while the action is being executed. For this, a male athlete from the Karate Do team was taken under analyze. The research responds to the qualitative paradigm, the type of transactional or cross-sectional design and a descriptive study model. Scientific research methods and techniques such as observation were used. A filming of the athlete under study was carried out, then their data was processed through the Hu-m-an 5.0 software and as a result t was obtained that the execution time was 0.37s, its speed was 6.9m / s and it applied a force of 107.2N.

RESUMEN

En la presente investigación se aplica un estudio biomecánico a la técnica Mawashi Geri en la etapa precompetitiva en karatecas de la Universidad de Cienfuegos con el objetivo de detectar elementos deficientes que dificulten su dominio mientras se ejecuta la acción. Para ello se analizó un atleta del sexo masculino del equipo de Karate Do. El trabajo responde al paradigma cualitativo, al tipo de diseño transaccional o transversal y un modelo de estudio descriptivo. Se emplearon métodos y técnicas científicas de investigación como la observación. Se llevó a cabo una filmación del atleta objeto de estudio, luego fueron procesados sus datos a través del software Hu-m-an 5.0 y se obtuvo como resultado que el tiempo de ejecución fue de 0.37s, su velocidad de 6.9m/s y aplicó una fuerza de 107.2N.
