Aporte de los centros de desarrollo empresarial para el éxito de las MiPymes innovadoras

Resumen

Este estudio de investigación identifica las capacidades productivas y competitivas de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MiPymes) en la ciudad de Girardot y la región circundante. El estudio se basa en un análisis del medio ambiente, su potencial de crecimiento y las condiciones necesarias a fortalecer para enfrentar los desafíos sociales, ambientales y económicos actuales. Todo esto puede considerarse como el punto de partida para desarrollar un estudio de viabilidad y factibilidad para la creación de un centro de desarrollo empresarial. Se empleó un método de investigación descriptivo para determinar el nivel existente de competitividad, tecnología y eficiencia de las MIPYME en Girardot y la región circundante. Este método se combinó con el uso de herramientas de recolección de datos cualitativos, como la entrevista semiestructurada, aplicada a 30 MiPymes en la ciudad antes mencionada y su región circundante. Los resultados incluyeron un análisis del entorno de las MIPYME para conocer su situación actual y las condiciones para determinar la viabilidad de establecer un centro de desarrollo empresarial. Este enfoque identificó habilidades internas, amenazas y oportunidades en el entorno, utilizando el análisis DAFO y diseñando estrategias acordes acorde a las necesidades de la ciudad – región.

ABSTRACT

This research study identifies the productive and competitive capacities of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MiPymes) in the city of Girardot and the surrounding region. The study is based on an analysis of the environment, its growth potential and the necessary conditions to be strengthened to face current social, environmental and economic challenges. All this can be considered as the starting point to develop a feasibility and feasibility study for the creation of a business development center. A descriptive research method was used to determine the existing level of competitiveness, technology and efficiency of MSMEs in Girardot and the surrounding region. This method was combined with the use of qualitative data collection tools, such as the semi-structured interview, applied to 30 MSMEs in the aforementioned city and its surrounding region. The results included an analysis of the environment of MSMEs to find out their current situation and the conditions to determine the viability of establishing a business development center. This approach identified internal skills, threats, and opportunities in the environment, using the SWOT analysis and designing strategies according to the needs of the city - region.
