Relato de vida de Don Fernando Chong Ham

Resumen

El presente trabajo de investigación histórica reconstruye, mediante la narrativa, la aventura de la llegada desde Cantón China a Pachuca México de un inmigrante, Don Fernando Chong Ham, quien fue el propietario del famoso restaurante “El Asia”, lo que permite reconstruir el pasado de la ciudad de Pachuca en México de una manera objetiva y exacta posible. La recolección y verificación mediante entrevista a su hijo el Dr. Fernando Javier Chong García y la revisión de documentos disponible, permitió llegar a la conclusión de que México es un crisol de culturas que de alguna manera reflejan una identidad particular de sus habitantes.

ABSTRACT

This historical research work reconstructs, through narrative, the adventure of the arrival from Canton China to Pachuca Mexico of an immigrant, Don Fernando Chong Ham, who was the owner of the famous restaurant "El Asia", which allows us to reconstruct the past of the city of Pachuca in Mexico in an objective and exact way possible. The collection and verification through an interview with his son, Dr. Fernando Javier Chong García, and the review of the available documents, allowed us to conclude that Mexico is a melting pot of cultures that somehow reflect a particular identity of its inhabitants.
