El trabajo científico estudiantil en la Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación (1945-1970)

Resumen

En el trabajo se abordan los principales componentes del Trabajo Científico Estudiantil. La investigación responde al Proyecto “Gestión integradora de la investigación estudiantil en la formación profesional universitaria, Universidad de Guayaquil”. Se analiza el contexto de la participación de los estudiantes en la investigación y en eventos científicos entre 1945-1970. La metodología aplicada permitió establecer los fundamentos teóricos del Trabajo Científico Estudiantil. Se laboró en archivos y bibliotecas. Se tomó testimonio a varios docentes, entre otras acciones investigativas. Se emplearon los métodos de la investigación científica: heurístico, analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo, histórico-lógico, entre otros. Todo a fin de determinar las formas y manifestaciones existentes del trabajo científico estudiantil entre 1945-1970. Quedó establecido que el Trabajo Científico Estudiantil en el período objeto de estudio fue muy escaso, limitado a las investigaciones para las tesis de licenciatura y otras de carácter práctico, como parte del currículo de algunas asignaturas. Idéntica situación presentó la presencia de estudiantes en eventos científicos. El trabajo enfatiza en la importancia de la participación de los estudiantes en eventos científicos -tanto aquellos de carácter estudiantil como los convocados por la academia ya establecida. Palabras clave: Formación universitaria, investigación, trabajo científico. ABSTRACT In this work are presented the main components of the Students Scientific Work. The investigation answers to the Project of “Integration Management of the students’ investigation in the university professional training, University of Guayaquil”. There was analyzed the context of the participation of the students in the investigation and in scientific events among the years 1945-1970. The applied methodology allowed establishing the theoretical essentials of the Students Scientific Work. We worked in files and libraries. Moreover, we took Testimony to several teachers, among other investigative actions. There were used the methods of the scientific investigation: heuristic, analytical - synthetic, inductive -deductive, historical - logical, and others. Everything determines the forms and existing declarations of the students’ scientific work between 1945 and 1970. It remained to establish that the Students Scientific Work in the period studied was very scarce, limited most of the times, to the investigations for the theses of licentiate and others of practical character, as part of the curriculum of some subjects. Identical situation presented the students' presence in scientific events.
