The quality of gerontological care and the satisfaction of older adults are fundamental factors in ensuring dignified aging. In this context, the study aims to evaluate the relationship between quality management in gerontological services and the level of satisfaction of older adults in a Gerontological Center located in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. Among the main problems identified were staffing levels and welfare-based approaches that reduce the autonomy of older adults. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and relational design was applied to a sample of 40 participants (older adults and family members). The instruments used were processed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed significant correlations between staff training, speed of care, clarity of information, and satisfaction (Rho=0.70–0.87; p<0.001). It is concluded that quality management is a strategic axis for gerontological well-being.
