Hoy existen teorías y conceptos como la resiliencia organizacional, cuyo objetivo fundamental se basa en identificar y analizar esos factores para que las organizaciones en cualquier momento, puedan recuperarse de complicadas eventualidades. En dependencia de la interacción y retroalimentación de estos factores, se puede prever qué tan dispuesta está la organización para afrontar las crisis y cuál es el grado que puede soportar antes de entrar en una situación conflictiva y de la cual ya no pueda retornar. Cuando por circunstancias fortuitas, exógenas como endógenas, se ve afectado el desenvolvimiento de la organización, la única posibilidad segura de supervivencia es contar con la capacidad suficiente para reinventar y adecuar su modelo de negocio antes de que las condiciones adversas, le obliguen hacerlo. En tal sentido, el presente artículo hace referencia a las diferentes significaciones de resiliencia de las organizaciones, a los beneficios de tener organizaciones resilientes y al papel primordial que juegan los CEO frente a este tipo de organizaciones.Palabras clave: Organización, crisis, competencias, líder. ABSTRACTThe development of organizations, there are both internal and external factors that can in a given time, affect its normal functioning. Today, there are theories and concepts such as organizational resilience, whose main objective is based on identifying and analyzing these factors to organizations at any time, can recover from complicated eventualities. Depending on the interaction and feedback from these factors, can be so prepared is the Organization to cope with the crisis and what is the degree that can withstand before entering a conflict situation and which already cannot return. When both exogenous and endogenous, fortuitous circumstances is affected the good development of the Organization, the only possibility of survival, is having enough capacity to reinvent and to adapt its business model until the conditions adverse, force him to do so.
